REMINDER!

NO CLASS SATURDAY  NOVEMBER 12

Class Retreat the following week!
Nov 20 11:30 mass, then we will be putting together the food baskets for delivery,
afterwards is retreat time till 4-4-30

Be sure to make it, trust me, you would have much more fun with your class than having to do the
ALL day one on your own!!!

Methodist Dinner Coming Up

 Nov. 5 2011 Methodist Church Roast Beef Dinner
 Hours available between noon and 7:00pm. Help serve dinner and desserts to your local neighbors! OR just make a dessert: cake or pie(NO cookies or brownies please) 1 hour service time for each baked item. Call Mrs. DeSapio to let her know what time you can work:908-996-6337.

Food Drive

In case you were out today, we are collecting food  for those less fortunate in our community.
8th graders are to bring in  any of these items: coffee, tea, hot chocolate or powdered milk. You can bring in as much as you like. Please be sure to bring them in by Oct 29.
We can always use turkeys too!
We will be dividing up the food after church on Nov 20....Retreat Day!

Need some service hours?

The Class of 2010/2011 is being confirmed this Sunday! Anyone who needs service time: we could use help with refreshments for after confirmation. Services will be at 2 & 4, if you stay for both you will have 4 hours of service time. If you bake something you will get 1. Do both and get 5!

Parent Meeting at Church

Don't forget we are meeting at the church this Sat (9/24) at 9:30 with your parents!

HEY!!! it was great meeting you all today!
For next class remember to bring in a 4X6 picture of yourself.
I'll be having a booth at community day so I might be in and out of class, or not there at all, guess we'll just have to see how the days go. But, Mrs. Racile will be there, she's the brains behind our team.
Make sure to stop by and see me at Community day, and if you need someplace to leave stuff, I'd be happy to watch for you.

Welcome Back to CCD!

It's that time of year again! This is the place to come if you are looking for homework assignments, closings or anything special that is coming up.  I will do my best to keep this updated, but in the case of a power outage, well......hopefully by then you would already know there is no class at the very least!

Please remember to bring  everything with you to each class: pen/pencil, notebook, & paper.  Your teachers work very hard (with NO Pay!!) to get things ready for their new students. It is very disruptive when students come in unprepared for class so lets keep our acts together OK?

If you don't already know me, I am Mrs. Whitehead and I help out with  8th grade. I will probably be standing in road in front of the school entrance making sure no one gets hit by a car when coming in too.  I look forward to meeting everyone and hope we have another great year!

FYI:   Community Day is next weekend!!!
